  • Assistance with Fees

  • We have two programmes which provide support with fees, Foundation Places and Financial Assistance for Parents (FAP). The funds available through the FAP scheme and Foundation Places are limited and not all families who apply will be successful in receiving support.

If your household income (before tax) is less than £36,000 a year you are eligible to apply for a Foundation Place. We do take into consideration the number of children a family may have.

Foundation Places are only available for pupils applying for admission into P6-S6. Priority will be given to P6, P7 and S1 applicants.

Foundation Place applicants will receive a home visit. All applicants looking for financial support will complete a financial assessment and have a meeting regarding the financial information provided.

Please consider the following before ticking the support button:

    • Have you considered releasing capital through increasing mortgages, selling investments or using savings?
    • Is it possible to increase the earnings of your family? We would expect both parents to be earning where possible.
    • The financial circumstances of any parent or other person with parental rights and responsibilities will be taken into account. Financial assessments will include requests for financial information on step-parents. The obligation of any person to a child who has been accepted by them as a child of the family (e.g. a step-parent) shall be taken into account.

All financial support is subject to annual review.
